Can I save pictures to my computer?
Yes. Just right click the picture you want and select Save As…
When is a good time to save a picture or video?
It is always a wise idea to save any picture or video you like as soon as possible because I sometimes move photos around or take them off the main page. So, if you like a photo/video, save it. You can, however, always contact me if a favorite photo is no longer available and I will send you a copy.
How do I get the videos to work?
For recent videos, just hit the play button on the embedded video. For archived videos, you will need to download and install QuickTime player. You can get the player here.
Once installed, just click on the movie links from the Morrisweb page. Some browsers, depending on how they’re configured, will take 20-40 seconds and then play the movie within the browser (so be patient) and others will start a download of the video.
If a download starts, click save and note where the file is being downloaded. Once it is done, go to where you downloaded the file and double click it, press play and the video should play. Note that your downloaded movies should be about 25 megabytes in size. You can check your file size by right clicking the file, going to properties and looking at the file size.
If your download doesn’t start at all and the video won’t start, right click the video title and click on Save Target As… You can now save the file wherever you want. Once downloaded, you can open the file with QuickTime.
One of the links doesn’t work. What do I do?
If you find a dead link on the site, send Eric an email (see contact us page) about which link isn’t working and he will fix it.
